Short and sweet.

Let's see how concise we can keep this...

The Hoppy Red is on its last keg and the Wee-Heavy (aka Scotch Ale) will be on tap today for our New Year's Eve hours - replacing the Aged Hoppy Red.

We released the new Double IPA - Clermont - no. 1 over the weekend as well as our Extra Special Bitter.  Both are moving quite quickly, so come in today for some celebratory ales!

It has been a bit...

... Since our last blog.  We have all the updates you have (or maybe you haven't) been looking for.

To start, we released our Porter - a dark ale, with notes of chocolate and caramel, rich mouthfeel and a dry, slightly roasty finish.  This never-before-released beer is made with many different malts and three different grains (wheat and oat in addition to barley).

On Friday, we will be releasing 54 Elizabeth Street - our chocolate and vanilla stout.  And as more lines open up, we also have an Extra Special Bitters and a new (yet to be named) Double IPA.  Those releases will be followed closely by a Wee Heavy/Scotch Ale and the Winter Warmer.

We have a lot of new ales on deck, which means that we have a few that are on tap which are almost gone.  The Belgian Dubbel kicked on Monday, and the Campfire Pale Ale, Stout, Brom Bones and Aged Hoppy Red are getting near the end.  Luckily, we have so many new ones to release, we will be maintaining 10 choices on tap for some time.

Cask Night - No. 4

Publicly announcing our fourth cask ale installment - Brom Bones, our imperial brown, brewed with house grown pumpkins and warm, fall spices - has been cask conditioned on rum staves and vanilla beans.

We have TEN GALLONS of this bad boy, plus two musical guests and some light fare.  And in honor of the season, we are also asking for donations - new, unwrapped toys OR non-perishable goods for our friends at Abilities First, Inc (read up on them here).

Help us give, drink and be merry!  Celebrations start at 5pm on December 18th - the first cask will be tapped at 6pm and the second at 8pm.  See you then.

Cheers!

Brom Bones is Here!

Pumpkin is coming...

It's officially official.

The Big Apple kicked over the weekend, which means we have a line free and Brom Brones, our imperial brown with pumpkin and warm, fall spices is officially ready.  Get it while it lasts - it will certainly move quickly.

If pumpkin isn't your thing, we have 9 other ales currently on tap (Tarwe, BLM, Belgian-Style Dubbel, Campfire Pale Ale, Hoppy Red Ale, Paddle Steamer, East IPA - no. 4, Stout, and DIPA) and ready to fill your freshly cleaned growlers.

We have special holiday hours on Wednesday from noon until 9pm.  Come by and get some beer for your Thanksgiving feasts, or just to hang out.  We like your company.
